The game is already a good starting point if you want the survival, building, questing and multiplayer loop. The screenshot below is useful because it shows the content direction at a glance; use the rows to decide whether the next update matches what you want to play.

Which update should you care about?
- Start now if you want to explore, build a base, complete the current quest route or play co-op. The core loop does not require waiting for the roadmap.
- Return in October or November if you mainly want more quests, activities and enemy variety without waiting for a large expansion.
- Wait for December if Prayer, new materials, a new building kit or the Luminance content are the features that would make the game worth returning to.
- Watch the 2027 plans if your priority is a larger story continuation, new skills or Hardcore difficulty.
