These are the published PC targets. Meeting the minimum does not guarantee a stable frame rate in a large base, busy multiplayer world or effects-heavy encounter. Record resolution, preset, frame-rate target and the same test scene when comparing performance.
Controller support
Dragonwilds supports controller, keyboard and mouse input. Open Settings > Controls from the main menu, or press Esc > Settings > Controls while playing, to inspect and change the current bindings. The official controls guide lists the default controls.
The official Xbox-style layout includes:

Remap an input
Select the action in the Controls menu, press the replacement button when prompted, and use Reset to Defaults if the new layout causes a conflict. Recheck menus and building controls after a remap because several contexts reuse shoulder buttons and the D-pad.
Controller performance is a separate issue
Controller support does not guarantee that every handheld or compatibility layer is officially optimized. If input works but the game stutters or looks blurry, compare the device with the current PC requirements and test resolution, upscaling and frame-rate settings separately. That is a performance problem, not evidence that controller support is missing.
Check the platform before you buy
See platform availability before buying another version, use combat controls for dodge timing, or open crash and performance troubleshooting when the controls menu itself is not the problem.
